Riad Hajra is a beautifully restored merchants' house located in a quiet residential area in the heart of the Medina (Marrakesh old town) just to the north of the famous souks and close to the renowned Marrakech museum.

The house was often used for weddings before its conversion as a riad hotel. Marrakesh tradition was that impressive venues such as this were offered by the homeowner as a gift to the couple and as an act of charity to the community.
