An update from Marrakech during COVID-19

It’s the last day of January 2021 in Marrakech, a beautiful sunny day with highs of 25 Celsius. The streets are just starting the get busy with locals going shopping or visiting family. From time to time you see tourists. Not as many as usual, but Marrakech is open for tourists, and in our opinion, now is the best time to visit Marrakech. Streets are not very busy, you don’t have to queue for hours to visit the gardens or museums and you have plenty of riads to choose from. So here is a quick update from Marrakech, perhaps you consider visiting in the coming weeks:

* Guests need to wear masks (for their safety ) while they are out and about especially in crowded places. The masks are not needed at the cafe, eating or relaxing in the gardens.
* If you wish to use public pools or hammam, your temperature will be checked upon entry. You do not need to wear face masks here after your temperature has been checked.  For the Hammam and massages area, they have a rules in place and they take only a limited number of guests ( about 50% of normal capacity)
* Restaurants and cafes are open until 8 pm in the evening.
* Walking tours and excursions are available as usual.
Inside the riad we follow all health and safety requirements that are in place from the local authorities. Your safety and comfort are our priorities during these challenging times, and we really hope to be able to welcome you soon to Marrakech.
