His studio is called Villa Amir and is in Marrakech. The space is filled with wooden mannequins adorned with raffia and clay.  what sets Noureddine apart from many Moroccan fashion designers is his departure from traditions of materials and styles, instead he takes inspiration from Amazigh culture, and sculpts pieces of clothing from the waistline until he feels a perfect garment has been created.

Noureddine’s career in fashion began with costumes for films which he created during the 1990’s , and now he is known in high fashion circles. His designs have been featured in Parisian exhibitions and also at Paris Fashion week.

This year Noureddine’s creations will be on display near to his Marrakech home    At an exhibition at the temporary exhibition room at the YSL Museum. The exhibition will run between February 23 rd and April 22 nd.
