Welcome back to Marrakech

Starting June 15, 2021, international flights to Morocco have been able to resume and travelers can now, under some conditions, have access to Moroccan territory.

There are some conditions to be met if traveling to Morocco by air. First, the government made a classification of countries into two lists (A and B)

For travelers from list A, a vaccination pass or a certificate attesting that the person is fully vaccinated is required. For those who could not be vaccinated, they must have a negative PCR test at boarding not older than 48 hours. This does not apply to children under the age of 11.

Travellers coming from B list countries  must obtain an exceptional travel authorization before travel. Upon arrival, they must present a negative PCR test dated within 48 hours of the date of entry into the national territory and undergo a mandatory 10-day isolation .

As of 17 June 2021  the A list countries are all United Nations countries except Lithuania and Lettonia.

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the health situation in Morocco has always been stable with low critical cases. For more information on the covid-19 health situation in Morocco can be found here: http://www.covidmaroc.ma/

The Vaccination program in Morocco is very successful with more than 23% of the population vaccinated.
