A short 25 Dirham taxi ride from the old town in the New town of Guiliez is the Neobarroca Cafe/ Restaurant. Off the tourist trail this inexpensive establishment offers a great value meal and window into the culture of modern young Morocco.
The decor is striking with bold images of the young Napolean Bonaparte and battles of the Napoleonic era set against blood red walls. The cafe is does not serve alcohol but coffees teas and a range of soft drinks. The kitchen is open from breakfast to a late dinner around 9pm.
