On the South side of the Jemma al Fnaa square between the night time food stalls and the crowded open space packed with performers is a row of spicy tea vendors.
Each offers his own brew with exotic ingredients like Ginseng, Cardamon, Star Anis, Lemon Balm and Fenugrek. The competing recipes are proudly displayed, very often with rows of ingredient jars on view. The tea itself is brewed in ornate brass urns and served in simple Moroccan glasses to be consumed standing at the side of the stall. A bargain a just two or three dirhams a glass!
